Who I am:
Hello! My name is Zen and I’m an 19 year old, trans (FTM), black individual with a high school degree. I graduated as of June 2023 (GO CLASS ‘23!) and I have a true passion for making art and being in a community that will happily accept me with open arms. I’ve been doing art since middle school, but finally decided to take it seriously in my early high school years. I made sure that every year I had a new art class that would make my time at school more enjoyable and interesting. After I graduated, I started going deep into figuring out how I wanted my artist career to fully take off and how to slowly build a community of people that really like my art. I've been in some art apprenticeships and they’ve done wonders for finding out who I truly am and what I want to be in the future.As of right now, I’m a self taught and independent artist based in Missouri working under my mom’s roof. I have a job, so right now this is not my main focus.I have some anxiety issues in person and in public spaces online so bare with me if you ever need to message me or see me at a convention. I’ve been working to break that anxious barrier so that eventually I can be more open to the idea of selling my art and be better at conversations.My fixations change around a lot, but my current ones are: LPS, Warrior Cats, character creation, drawing, VRChat, and watching Smosh. I’m a huge nerd for things, feel free to talk to me about any and everything you’d think I'd like.
